we are made

of filaments of dreams

all entwined in a

sleep

in which

the dreaming

that is done

is the very thing

that teases us

to try and wake from it

but if you truly want

to awake

then stop the

dreaming

and you will

see

the great awakening

has always

been

merchants

clayoquat sound

the day will come

when no longer

the sockeye

thrash

and bears will sit sadly

going hungry

and dream of trash

if you seek

to find the meaning

in the deepest parts of your life

see the quiet way

that flows

in the tumult and the peace

the way that knows

your inner heart

and which words to speak

to bring comfort

to those who comfort can not find

and to those who think they see

but discover they are blind

for when the earth falls to shock

and some think

ruin

know the way

so that others

may know it

too

and thus be greeted

or less inclined to folly

we evolved

aeon by aeon

we have come and gone

and hung on

and will do so

in differing forms
