when

death

draws

near

will you hold on to fear or love?

will there be confusion

or the stillness of the awakening heart

for in death

there is renewal if you hold your mind clear

and let the natural order

find its way

when death draws near

love reveals its breath

if your life was a landscape through which you walked

how much of the scenery would you recall as it really was?

would you listen to the voice in each footstep

and the stories that they could tell ?

would you understand the journey

and accept

the dust

and

the sweat?

mortality is the

cold light

of life

as life

washes through us

it is not chill

but cool

for mortality

is the material expression

of a deeper wisdom

and a greater

Love

release from that which binds you

starts with acceptance

and the

inner dialogue

that reveals

wisdom

lie on your back

and gaze into the

sky

blue expanse

reveals

the rythymn of the mind

which fades away

to

clarity

which fades

away into being

there are always blue skies

regardless of the clouds around you

gaze upward

and what is within you

appears on the ground

in front of your feet

you need to kneel down

and be humble

to see

time

is not

to be found in straight lines

or regulated beliefs

it moves in cycles

and tatty chaos

it is the

flipside of gravity

as space is of light

to be trapped by the belief of time

is to be trapped in habitual thinking

yet time is a tool to be used

for the nature of creation,intention and liberation

Look to the times of renewal

to the beating of your drum

full of life’s chatter

look to times of famine

when your bowl is an empty mouth

look to the times of renewal

and embrace

the path

technology does not make life better

it is another way of carrying out acts

people are the technology

that is the key

consider what you really do with

your technology

and

what it does to you

The smoke hangs heavy where the voices are,

the snow melts the soonest where the voices are,

quickly fly the swallows so far away where

the voices are,

the sea raging in its darkest foam,

the wind in quckest force is blown

these go to where the voices are

in the rabid scorn of human beasts

in the open hearts of human beings

in the evolving senses of human becomings

all go to where the voices are

on the salty marsh and chill mountain pass

where all the roads that lead

to a throbbing modern Rome

in the end

all go to where the voices are

birds will not sing

for those that are

not

prepared to listen

even in the most barren place
