Christopher Hansard[unknown]

there are forces within the world

today that thrive on causing chaos and destruction

and they believe that they will be able to continue

unknown, anoymous or under another name

but

all that is unknown

of these forces

will in time

become known

time is becoming thinner and more translucent

as is all matter of the mental and material

worlds

the only unknown

is that at the heart

of what is

Christopher Hansard:[ horizon]

where are your

horizons set?

how do you view

the edge

on which

you sit?

horizons are as dreams

and as prisons too

the way to

meet them

is

to receive

and

be

in the horizon

as a flux

Christopher Hansard:[ change]

all change

leads

to

an outcome

all change

creates

a state of mind

is the change constructive or simply reactionary?

change for the sake of change

creates

small change

which

is easily lost

without your knowledge

change is like water

it finds a way

but can also evaporate

a man finds it harder to admire the blue of the sky and the white clouds

when he stands in a desert

Christopher Hansard:[ the seasons]

do you know how the seasons go

fall and flow into your memory?

can you recall a dark Autumn

or a light filled winter,

a lonely Spring

or a crowded Summer?

can you retell the story of the season you were in

when your paradise turned to hell

or when you climbed to heaven

the seasons, they are

our regulators too

just as with the natural world

so we wax, wane,

decrease and gain

the ring marks

of yearly growth

and cover ourselves

in the bark of old growth

Christopher Hansard:[ One]

One

heart beat

is

all it takes…

do you know for what?

Why?

one breath

is made of two halves

do you know by which half

you live your life?

Christopher Hansard:[ allow]

allow all life to be as it would

and in so doing

you create life

……….

a man was once walking a long distance

carrying a heavy load

suddenly a stranger appeared

‘let me carry that burden for you a while’

said the stranger

after some miles

the man thanked the stranger

took his burden and went on his way

this situation repeated itself

many times

until

the man said on being asked to share his burden stated:

‘I will only give you my burden if you really want to carry it and hold it for as long

as it is needed..’

the stranger stamped off in a huff

suddenly the man’s burden felt a lot lighter

than it ever had before

Christopher Hansard:[ belief]

what do you believe in

burdens or blessings?

what you believe in becomes

your way of being

Christopher Hansard:[ listening to the sacred words]

From time within the womb

and until

we are thrust from the womb

we are listening

and as we listen

we know

we are listening to sacred words

for everything

is

poetry

the poetry of how, why, when, now, then

past, present

future seen

the sacred words

that

unravel dreams

the words we knew when womb entwined

are those to which in life

we are blind

but if we listen

to the sacred

growing

then each and every word

reveals

its sacred knowing

and pronouncement too

the sacred words

that are me and you

Christopher Hansard:[ the world]

the world

is not

the place that you occupy

you occupy the domain of your mind

when you realise that you are not your thoughts or habits

the world introduces itself and you will exclaim:

‘where have you been all my life!!’

a reunion of two lost lovers

separated by mist

all will be clear

as you see the dusty trail of thought waves

fall into a calm and tranquil flow

Christopher Hansard:[ receiving]

Receiving the first acting in giving

and one half of peace making

to receive

is to

be

part of all things

to receiving without expectation or attachments

is the art of loving
