Christopher Hansard:[ Wolves]
Men dressed as wolves
give each and every wolf
a bad name
each and every wolf is just a wolf
but a man can be both beast and another thing
formed from misunderstood intent
the black moon rises
on the silver seas
the tears of Aristotle, Socrates , Plutarch
melt the legacy of Thebes
there are wolves
and there are men
who howl like wolves
but can never be
the wolf

Christopher Hansard:[ 2021]
2021
20
21
2021
20
21
in the eleventh month
of 2021
you will
hear the ancient drums
beat slowly in the mist
that rises from land and sea
tranquility, refuge
and misunderstanding
mix,
satisfaction for the great turnaround
like a carpet been dusted down
the earth and sea
will roll and spin
2021

Christopher Hansard:[ Go to Hell]
A man ended up in heaven but thought he should go to hell
everyone he asked had no idea of how he could go to hell
as they kept reminding him ,heaven isĀ a state of mind
after a long time of asking in a far flung edge of heaven
he asked an old man how to get to hell
‘Oh that’s easy,’ said the old man
….’ Just keeping on asking how to go to hell and in time you will
one day you’ll wake up and hey presto, you have arrived..a miracle!’
The man looked solemn… the older man looked at him..
‘So why do you want to go to hell?’
‘Its just the way I feel and now I ended up in heaven..must be some mistake..’
‘Well,’ said the old man, ‘it depends really on what you believe about who you truly are…
when you are free of doubt, heaven or hell are just resting points on the way..’

Christopher Hansard:[ The Three Wise Men]
Three wise men went looking for God
they interrupted a shepherd who was sitting down for dinner
after looking after his flock of sheep and goats all day
‘Excuse me good man,’ said one of the wise men
‘we are looking for God and following that distant star…’
‘Hmmn..’ said the bemused shepherd…
‘ Plenty of stars to go following around here…’
‘If you want my advice…’
‘Yes!’ interupted the three wise men
‘Well you don’t need to go chasing after stars or traveling from foreign lands
to find God..you just need to look inside..personally I find God is always there
it saves me a lot of traveling expenses and looking where I don’t need too.’..
The Three Wise men rode off thinking themselves none the wiser

Christopher Hansard:[ Meaning]
the drama of a life spent
in the search for meaning
is the same as that spent
in search of pleasure or for power
but when the time comes for life to expire
it is only meaning
that will carry you over
to a higher state
pleasure will send round and around again
and power will freeze you into static disbelief
as your ego becomes entrenched in fantasy
meaning searches for itself throughout our lifes
and dwells within the universe
there are two kinds of meaning
one, that you give to things and sense in things and people
the other, dwells inherently beneath everything
and if you have courage you can see it
and embrace as a rare treasure

Christopher Hansard:[ Cycle]
in the world of rush
and brush off
on the world of instant
and ‘ASAP’
in the world of now
stop
and know
the breath
and the wisdom
that it holds
and points too
a world
where all things will be as they will be
and that there is a cycle
that supports us all

Christopher Hansard:[ Income]
the credit crunch
is increasing
as
people
panic
and fear
attaches itself
to the diminished incomes of millions
fear
fear
fear
is the unconscious currency

Christopher Hansard:[ Sky Clad]
Sky clad
the world
in blue
sky
clad
in
ancient
wonder
what people see as the future
is a memory
of once
what
was
made in the sky clad minds of our ancestors
in the world
before this world
in the earth
that gave birth to this earth

Christopher Hansard:[Opera]
There is nothing sacred
in sacredness
but
sacredness
in sanctity
in holiness
in belief
or harmony
love
trust
all there is
is but itself
we obscure the experience
by the rapture
of our everyday mind
a larger than life opera
in which we play both tragic hero or heroine
and villain

Christopher Hansard:[ The Politics of Change]
The Politics of Change come from the hunger of people’s souls borne from creeping dissatisfaction and the fear
of losing what they have and what they might have had. The Politics of Change is aspirational a chance for a second chance, for a belief that the individual matters and that life is more than what is in front of you.The Politics of Change is the politics of time and desire, the time that says there must be more to this and the desire to have at least a better tomorrow than a painful today. The Politics of Change is a belief, an article of faith a shared opinion and a grasping attempt to rearrange the features on the face of reality.
