We live in ange where responsibility is promoted as part of living

that we are responsible for ourselves but not for the actions of others

the world in which you live is made up of others

their deeds,actions and feelings,emotions and consciousness

because all the people in your life from those you love or hate

to those you read about or see on TV

are part of your world

you create them

they enter into your world because of you

can you take total responsibility for your Self

and for others?

Can you feel the pulse of life

in the grass the sky the tree

in the sap the rushing niagra

falls enclosed by barked skin

made of light

falling up to the descent of grace and cosmic intent

the fall of love in each living thing

the rushing of the inner soul

of upward aspiration

made real by downwards

exhalation

in the breath of things

if you want to know the history of the world

look to the breath of man

if you seek to know the origin of life

look to the breath within your chest

see how it sparks

the thumbnailed flame

within the heart

when the universe first knew itself

so your inner spark exploded into

the dream of making

the duality of romancing

the eternal and the mortal

search for meaning

to be found

in the

all of nothing

in the hand of everything

some love is lucky

some love is bad, some love is good

some love is for dreaming, some for scheming

some love for taking, some love for making

some love for liberation

some love is bleeding  some love is grieving

What do you believe?

What do you feel?

What do you know?

What do you understand?

What do you know of your personality

and how it is made?

Everything that we think, that we know

is a fleeting impulse

a filament in front of the sun

that is illuminated briefly

by the heat of recognition

then fades

into the space between the moments

where reality hides

waiting to be acknowledged

Stop

listen to your heartbeat

hear the voice within the beat

see the pure flame between the  beats

look into the heart

and see the face of the divine

People search for the mystery

instead of allowing ‘It’

to search for them

whatever you seek

can be found

within you

friendship is a mystery

to those who have no friends

spiritual development is a mystery

to those who do not understand spirit

dreams are impossible to those

that do not dream

The breath within us has been breathed before by another

the water we have drunk has been drunk before

we are all that have been and are all that will be

we are and were the impulse

of humanity’s evolution

we are the memory and the speech

of every woman, man and child

we are every inscription on a grave and every word on the first birthday card

hopes and aspirations, are threads, in the global nation

we aspire, inspire, create, recreate, procreate

we are the human path

All things move in cycles,

an upward moving cycle

a downward moving cycle

all of this

is

the prayer cycle

the silent evermoving prayer

All loss is the loss of

the psyche’s imagining

all gain is the gain of the psyche’s grasping

the psyche is the shadow and the light of this world

inbetween the psyche and the greater consciousness

is the twilight of becoming

the metaphysical realm of possibilities
