The Art of Thinking
How to Think
Everyone is under the impression that they know how to think, but really a lot of what they regard as thinking is really reacting to external events or internal ones. It might be something you see on the news on TV or a fear or anxiety within you. People often identify with helpful thoughts and ones that may feel uncomfortable, or alone , or unhappy. These are unhelpful thoughts. But although they seem real and their influence and effects certainly are, essentially they are not real, yet people identify with them, become 'glued ' to them. By starting to realise that you are not these kind of thoughts, you can begin to experience a more life- affirming type of thought, creative, inspirational, problem- solving thought energy. Yes, a thought is a form of energy, an impulse that leads to outcome or action. Thoughts rule our everyday more that we at first realise. The world is built on thoughts, whether they be helpful or unhelpful. By learning how to think, you can change the world you live in.
Thinking and Simplicity
Thinking when it is simple, is extremely powerful and uplifting for the thinker and others who receive the fruit of those thoughts. The simpler you can make your thinking, the more rewarding your inner mental world becomes and you can function with a greater state of mental clarity and balance. But what is simple thinking? It is a skill in which you can learn to let go of the clutter you don't need and allow your already existing thinking potentials to become more obvious. This can not only help you with your work, and your relationships with others, but also improve and increase your self-confidence and happiness and show you how to think effectively in solving problems that are of importance to you and your life.
Old Ways of Thinking
Our minds, our memories, our daily lives, our past and our future are filled with old ways of thinking, and often this does us no good at all. We have a lot of clutter and attachments to thoughts that just weigh us down and cause us to be less than we really are. Have you ever felt this, less than you really are, weighed down by the shadows of old thoughts. It can be tiring to carry all this around with you. If you get stuck in old ways of thinking , this can reduce your opportunities for a better life and happiness. You end up making your life smaller than it really needs to be.
