The Art of Thankfulness and Happiness
I would like you to ask yourself this question. Please say it aloud. The question is:
What do I have to be thankful for in my life?
Do you know? Have you ever thought about it? Really, deeply, as if it matters? I want you to ask yourself aloud, so you can hear yourself say it. After asking it aloud, give yourself a few moments to sense what comes up after stating the question. Whatever comes up in response to asking that question, I would like you to understand a little of the art of thankfulness. When you are thankful for everything that has taken place in your life, you start to feel connected to life. The less thankful we are, the less connected we become to ourselves, other people, and the world around us. Meditate on the statement below.
Thankfulness creates gratitude and gratitude creates happiness
Thankfulness is an expression of mind and being, it is also a state of behaviour and language that improves your emotional and physical health and enhances your quality of life. When you are experiencing thankfulness you are more able to create a life in which you can achieve all that you wish to with higher energy levels and stamina. Relationships improve, life becomes more enjoyable and your relationship with difficulties and challenges change.
You might not achieve everything in your list of wishes and aims, but when you are empowered by thankfulness you are able create positive energy and generate more opportunities for success of all kinds. You can create and apply values that best serve you. Gratitude that comes from thankfulness is a tangible form of 'intelligence' generated by genuine and heartfelt motivation. You act out of what is true for you.
Gratitude spontaneously comes out of thankfulness and by learning how to develop thankfulness then you will experience gratitude in a way unique to you. Thankfulness attracts success and brings positive circumstance. You will start to experience happiness, not just of the mind, or emotions but also of the body, as your body will experience a profound physical well-being.
