The Art of Compassion and Loving
Compassion is insight and kindness mixed with wisdom. Showing and having no judgement of any kind, compassion holds a clear and unadulterated understanding for all things. Yet it is more than understanding, it is also love for life. Compassion awakens awareness and consciousness in those that experience it and those that offer it. It dwells within you deep behind all the vestiges of your daily life, world and personality. You are full of it. Even when you first start to explore how to develop compassion and the skills of applying it, you will find that you have created an uplifting relationship with yourself and everyone else.
Compassion creates self-acceptance, forgiveness, well-being and lays the foundations for developing an adaptable happiness, that can not be swayed by life circumstances and challenges. Compassion can, when awakened inform and influence all aspects of your personal thoughts and behaviours. You really wake up to who you are and to who you can be. It is a useful, valid and dynamic way of living. I teach this skill to people in business as they find it enables them to resolve conflicts, challenges and sudden emergencies far more skilfully. They find that they are more creative in how they make their income and money and find more skilful ways in doing that.
Compassion helps you be more connected to the world, more present, less afraid. It rewires brains and heals prejudice. Compassion enables you to be less directed and affected by your suffering and more able to assist the suffering of others in intelligent and useful ways. Compassion increases and deepens your ability to love. Compassion assists in the alleviation of anxieties, the healing of anger in all its forms and creates courage and the ability to forgive.
In developing the art of compassion you becoming more skilful and spontaneous in loving, whether towards your partner, or friends, enemies or someone you see each day, but don't really know. Compassion is not opinion or well- intentioned thoughts or sentiment--it is dynamic, active, self-informing too. It doesn't let you hide behind fantasy and avoidance . Gently, it shows you how to embrace reality, but in a way that you can make sense of your life. It is a skill worth learning as the quality of your life improves. Compassion creates powerful emotional and psychological resilience, and improves the way you can solve problems.
