Christopher Hansard:[Jesus Walked the Prairies]

Jesus walked the Prairies in the ancient Winter nights,

Buddha went beside him holding up a light, Socrates, Aristotle, St Augustine and Karl Marx too

Zoroaster, Lao Tzu, Plato, Descarte and St.Peter running up behind

They all went walking, for walking is what they do,

In the bluster of the Wind and the rushing of the land

they paused to see a soft and beckoning hand,

to it they went and there they saw

White Buffalo Calf Woman, who with a glance said

‘Come you boys there’s no need to wander in the Night

or to carry all your burdens and hold one small light, sit until you find yourselves’

but men been men they could not, so in the rush for meaning, they hurried off again

she sighed

and said to the knowing night..

“Ah, just think that in times to come I shall give birth to every single one of them’

Christopher Hansard: [An Open Heart: Dedicated to Riadh and those who have been friends and whose hearts remain open]

In the history of all mankind there are those who are remembered

for they searched for an open heart, and many too, unknown by name,

and how they wanted peace for all humanity, and yet they were the most reviled

for the open heart exposes the tarnish and the chrome;

for the open heart is the greatest threat to those who stay within the comforts of their prison

an open heart is on the only frontier worth discovering

for all other discoveries are found there…

I have seen it in snowfall and in rain,

in sacred smoke and burning towns, the hidden marks of the open heart

in the wise prayers of a Cree medicine woman who knows the origins of the gods

the mountain climbing of a inspired shaman, in the herbal wisdom of a bearded light seeker

in the mercurial beauty of a woman who knows the weaver in the ancient cave

in the call of the whale in the night

in the great dragons that live in the earth of North America,

in the coming of White Buffalo, a great herd thundering down the main street near where you live,

in the rushing of the Spring Equinox

the Open Heart is to be found

all are seeking the same..

Call the Open heart , call it now, ask for it

then your life falls into place, a beat in the open heart of Life

One heart, many beats

In the quiet of Winter and the glow of Spring,

in the shyness of Summer, in the patience of Autumn

An Open Heart waits

In the voices of the crowd and the call to arms

in the tears of loss and of joy

The Open Heart holds all and can not die or fade away

Christopher Hansard:[What Will You Do?]

What will You do when you can not put gas into your car?

What will You do when you can not buy your food at the supermarket?

What will you do if you can not find any water clean enough to drink?

What will you do when the lights go out?

What will you do if your software fails?

What will you do if all that you know suddenly falls apart?

What will you do?

What will you do when the rain fall burns your skin?

What will you do when the rain stops falling?

What will you do when the rain pours down day and night ?

What will you do when the last glacier evaporates?

What will you do when all the knowhow of all that you take for granted is meaningless and cannot save you?

What will you do?

Stand in the light of your own being and try not to be afraid, that is what you can do

When the Zoo gets raided for the meat in the cages what will you do?

When everyone around you is in despair what will you do?

Stand in the light of your being and try not to be afraid, that’s what you can do ..

Start now and learn how to know what to do,

Stand in the light of your being and try not to be afraid

Trust the cycle of spiritual unfoldment in the world

This is the sad time of the World versus the Earth, when there needs to be no competition

When the Earth asks you, and that day will come, what did you do? What will your answer be?

The World has no answer and no question. That is why many do not know what to do.

There are two species of humanity, one dwells within The World

The other dwells with the Earth..the choice is , what will you do?

Christopher Hansard:[Tibet Has A Future]

Tibet in the west has long been a state of mind, linked to higher knowledge, and through the work of brave people the human rights violations have been made apparent to the global community. What will come of these current struggles?

Tibet is gaining ground as an issue, because of Chinese anxiety to be seen as a world class nation. These current struggles will slowly fester and there will rise up within the next twenty years a Tibetan leader who will bring about radical change within the geographical limits of Tibet as it is now, pushing China out.

Whether or not it is the right thing, who can say, but the wheel of conflict has started to roll. The Dalai Lama is the only person capable of encouraging the renunciation of violence on both sides. Communism is a form of superstition, and Buddhism is an atheistic psychological means of transformation that goes beyond what we understand as psychology in the West. Tibet has a future, and all  of us can make it happen today.

Christopher Hansard:[Imagination and the Impulse of Change]

What is your imagination?

Some think its the run of fantasy,

or a vague emotional experience of little consequence.

Imagination is the fusing of intent and vision that awakens the impulse

behind the function of change.

This creates change in ourselves, the world at large

and in the human experience globally.

Imagination is the building block of awakening, it shows us possibilities and probabilities, it inspires us on how to think and how to be .

Imagination gives us courage and urges us to love.

Imagination is the great risk taker

because it take you beyond all of your previous limitations.

If there was one answer containing wisdom that any wise person

or teacher could give to a person seeking truth

and asking, ‘what is the purpose of life?’ …

It would be, ‘Imagine and it will be…’

The world in which we all live is built upon Imagination.

Think deeply and you will find it to be so.

This realisation makes many afraid of Imagination

because then they are forced to step outside of the box in which their lives are kept.

Step out of your box, fold it up, recycle it and become  an Imagineer,

a term I use to describe a person who applies Imagination to change the

quality of their life and the world around them.

It is a self -taught experience, trust the imagination within to guide you.

Christopher Hansard:[Internet Communication and Identity]

Millions of people use e-mail and the internet, but do they understand how it works…?

Lives rise and fall on a virtual tide, an invisible process, one powered by thought, imagination and huge resources, which will not last forever.

People I think often feel disassociated in and by Internet use.

They hide behind aliases and false names

and do not really enter into communication..

communities are created on the web,

but they can be virtual ghettos.

We need to understand how to communicate and imagine

that we are in a face to face conversation with the person

we are communicating with,

even if its an organization or impersonal construct.

The Internet is full of fear, and Google is just a machine, it does not know what is true or not, it processes and replicates.

But what happens when the algorithms behind the web hit critical mass?

Yes a mathematical identity, which an algorithm is ,will come to an end.. the constructs of the Web are influenced by all the emotional forces that are poured into it.

Every time we use the web we also get a wash of those emotional forces.

Every internet user leaves their emotional mark.

Identity gets mixed up and mutated if we buy into the emotionality that pervades the net.

Ask your self how do you change when you send e-mails, use chat rooms or MySpace or Facebook, Bebo or anything similar.

Think how you change? Why do you use the Internet?

How has it made you view yourself and the world?

The Internet is a virtual world,

still unexplored in its full impact on societies everywhere,

and the pollution that is on it, in the form of hatred, pornography and bigotry will seep out through users and through its very existence into the everyday world .

The internet can be a good thing but at the same thing we need to respect it

as if were part of the Planet Earth otherwise like the Earth now,

having global warming and other forms of eco system collapse,

so to will this happen to the Internet.

Create something positive and put it out on the Net,

send out compassion, communication and humanity.

ChristopherHansard:[Credit Crunch and Economic Change for You]

The world is in a panic because of the credit crunch and the fears of economic change and how that will affects millions of people just like you. Things are getting tough, yet when they do, it is important to stop and consider what you and your life are made of. How much fear have you bought into? Has your life been based on credit?

The credit crunch is not just financial, but it is emotional and spiritual too. There is not the emotional and spiritual basis to support these forces which are going into free-fall.

Each of us needs to address our own balance sheet and know what our currency is made of as we spend it in this life. The emotions we have and the life we seek are the currency and the value that we ascribe to what we want and need.

All money and credit is invisible, based upon a belief and both really do not exist.

When the belief and the trust in the belief runs out so does the credit.

In the everyday world this has dramatic consequences upon people’s lives.

However, if you are under the influence of the credit crunch and the emerging economic changes, and everyone will be, regardless of their wealth, stop and consider what money and having money means to you and whether you equate it with Life and well-being.

Pray to the divine within not to just assist you with money but in understanding that no one can own money, it passes on through us, it was one of the first creations of humanity and because of that it has gathered an independent primal force that powers its influence.

Be at peace with the pieces you have, put them together and they will show you how to make more. But be content first with where you are now.

Christopher Hansard:[When the World Goes Mad]

When the World goes mad, do not let your self be dragged into the frenzy.

The world is going through so many changes that most of them pass by many, as they are deep yet fleeting, but placed all together they will emerge like a great tidal wave and break on the most fragile shores. These are our identity, occupations and sustanability.

Every single person has a choice, by not entering into the frat of madness, to say ‘No’ to the turmoil , it will cease.

The world is in a tantrum, made by childish humanity, the Earth, is tiring of the children, not because they are children, but because all they hear is their own howling.

Stop, listen to the Earth, it is not going mad. The world is made by men and women

the Earth by cosmos in descent through matter and the material world.

Stop do not enter the fray.
