Opportunity Has Many Faces
When life throws us unexpected experiences and we feel confused and complain about our bad luck, when life gets to hard, then ask your self, ‘compared to what?’.
Comparison enables us to be clear minded, and to allow our intuitive wisdom and rational mind to inform us of our real life situation.
The smaller we allow our minds to be, the smaller our lives become because a small mind creates a small life.
Misfortune, bad luck, misunderstandings and continual problems can lose their addictive qualities if we just stop and ask of ourselves, ‘compared to what..’
We then start to realise that these are really opportunities for enormous well-being and growth, and that opportunity has many faces.
To look at each face clearly, we need to be able to identify and accept the opportunity offered to us, so regardless of the situation you find yourself, ask of yourself what is the opportunity behind the face. Every situation is a face, look behind the face, the appearance to the opportunity.
Each opportunity is a choice, a lesson and statement of what you most need to learn or recognise.
Count all the opportunities in your life, past and present, and try to understand the lessons and choices that were or are being offered to you.
