Trust

Trust is an expression of love.

Love that comes from the innermost part of yourself that knows

all is well with the world and all that is in it

regardless of apperances or circumstance.

Trust is true self-love and the welcoming hand of Compassion.

Comfort

Comfort does not come from things.

Comfort does not come from having, owning or giving or receiving.

Comfort comes from being.

Life is like a Love Affair

Life is like a love affair, it has its ups and downs, uncertainties and promises, all pointing to a union and a path of beauty and harmony.

But love affairs come and go, like high notes in a popular song, are quick and forgotten with only a fragment remembered of the refrain or the introduction.

Love affairs like life, end the way they began. [Read more →]

What Do You Believe?

What do you believe? What are the beliefs that you hold as the glue that helps you stick the daily world together and the complexity of your life. I do not just mean the spiritual or religious beliefs, but the beliefs that make up your personality that others know you by and as, and that personality that you believe yourself to be. What are they?

Can you ask yourself that question? People like to define themselves with easy beliefs, like, I am a Christian, a Jew , a Muslim, a Hindu, a Communist, a Conservative, a Liberal, a Scientist, an Artist , an Atheist, an Agnostic, a lover of Chocolate..these are beliefs but they do not say who you are deep within your being. The Wisdom Within

There is wisdom waiting to be understood. Within your very nature, where you feel confused and sometimes overwhelmed, wisdom waits for you to recognize its presence.

There is no rush for wisdom. Often we miss what is right in front of us and so it can be with wisdom, wisdom is right in front of you, within you and all around you. The trouble often with accessing your wisdom is in giving it a voice. Yes your wisdom has a voice.

The voice is the way you learn your lessons and live your life. [Read more →]

The Heart Has A Voice

The heart has a voice, soft and quiet, it speaks in every beat

The heart has a voice it moves in every human action, in our speech

The heart has a voice and calls out your true name

The heart has a voice and its language can be found in everything natural and manmade

The heart has a voice, it calls us to love and to rise above all that seeks to bring us down

The heart has a voice, and a single word, a word heard differently to every ear,

The heart has a voice

Can you hear?

Continuity

Each day, each hour, each minute, each fleeting moment flows around us and through us out into life, we are like rain drops falling into a river that runs into the sea. Yet we seek continuity and safety. Stability and presence of mind.

We seek unchanging foundations. What is continuous in your life? Continuity does not stop change but shows how change takes on many forms teaching us the same lessons over and over again.

We come into this life to learn one, several or many lessons, so that we create a truer life. Continuity is the reminder of where we have come from, where we are now, the possible choices for the future that awaits us.
